This one almost feels like it should be a Dr. Who episode. The witty repartee between Hansel and Gretel is brilliantly crafted, and the use of "Breadcrumbs" is sheer genius.
Richard takes reality and stretches it over the framework of a well-known fairy tale, poking holes where needed to let in the darkness of psychological rationalization. No spoilers, but I adore the ending. <3
When do we get to read the rest of the alphabet?
Not impressed with the stories I read. I didn't read the entire book to be fair though.
Funny in some places not for kids.some of your morbid friends may like it but not your average person I would not give it to the witch next door.
Another great book from Marc! Nice twist on Hansel and Gretel.
This book was okay. The humor in it wasn't quite my style, but it was good enough that I finished it and that's something.
Wowzer! This was the creepiest fairytale I have ever read. You will be wondering what that trucker is hauling in his or her truck ...baking ingredients maybe?
